Adjusting Bedroom Floor

This is the floor of the bedroom where the workers have now removed the old carpet. They will eventually remove some of the parquet to get to the stone foundation posts. Since 1860 something, the building has shifted, leaving the floor uneven. They will work to cut away the concrete until the floor is even.
